Shattered Dreams – In this painting I wanted to depict the effects that war has on children. This Ukrainian girl has lost her immediate family in the war and has become orphaned. The only way she can find some sort of comfort is to hug her teddy bear, while mourning the loss of her family. What she has endured will forever change the trajectory of her life.
